19 was fun, 20 much more better.

Hey guysssss, this adjustment program to Project Adulthood is going as slow as i never anticipated but right now i feel so exhausted, peep the picture below to see just how i feel lol.

Soooooo for ya’all that missed out, my birthday was on the 25th of June and a legend marked her 20th year on this earth on monday. On top all my mouth, you would expect

me to have a bum ass party or something. My peopleeeeee, my village people followed me and unfortunately i fell ill on my birthday, i literally actually had to come back home from work, it was that bad but anyway, i ended up sleeping my day away 😂😂😂😂 😢😢😢. I have to send a shout out to everyone who sent me mesaages and a special warm hug to my bestfriend Alex who did the most mehnnnnn, i love youuuuuuu bestie. Plus Ogadinma has a raw love for my bitmoji. Okay enough with the mushy stuffs. I ended up eating a BBQ burger meal which came free, courtesy of a very nice person sitting across from me 😑😑😑, don’t ask abeg. What a way to spend a much anticipated birthday. Well let me tell you things 19 taught me.

LESSONS 19 TAUGHT ME

1. You are nothing without reference to your creator. God is my creator, Allah may be yours, Ogun, Oya or who so ever you choose, but one thing is sure, you are nothing without your creator. God has brought me this far and i have absolute confidence that he won’t let me down.

2. There is always opportunity to relearn and unlearn. Don’t be the Joan of Arc who is always stuck in his/her firsthand knowledge. You don’t always have to be stuck with your first thoughts, there is room for broad thoughts, think wide, think deep, the world needs improvement upon and lots of people are counting on you.

3. Knowledge is not biscuit, if you share it, it won’t get finished. Be willing to help others. I am gifted (glory to God) with teaching and understanding, i see this as a gift given to me to help others. If you horde your gifts trust me, you won’t advance in life. It’s also good to compare notes with other people, see where the sucess story lies, there is absolutely no victory in being arrogant or being an unapproachable island.

4. DO NOT EXPECT PEOPLE TO DO FOR YOU WHAT YOU DO FOR THEM. This is not a very realistic way of life, i have learnt to do all things in the capacity to which i can deliver it. You won’t see me going out of my way to help you because i want something in return or because i expect you to do the same when i am in need, this is a trash attitude.

5. There would be good days, there would be times when you wish the days turned out better, but in all thing’s or situations always look for the positive ray of sunshine even if it’s not that bright.

6. It’s also to fail or take an L, it only means you have a new experience under your belt, but when you make the same mistake twice, my guy, give yourself a knock. Another thing is know when your L has being served, biko don’t go around being the proud ignorant fool who doesn’t know anything and won’t keep quiet (Marcel i am channelling you here 😂😂) 7. Above all, you have to know what you want for yourself, set standard’s, high standards (i will explain more on this in the next post) if you are going to Z don’t settle for M because the journey seems longer and you are getting more comfortable in the M zone. You have to make plans, valid plans, self plans, achievable one’s. Don’t do something because everyone is doing it or because your friend’s are in it. Make self plan’s. Okayyyyy, i think if you follow these guides, you can’t go wrong or rather you won’t go through the difficult way like i and several others before me did. So there you go seven cheats to beating, defeating age 19. PS: does the purple coloured Fanta have an alcoholic undertone, or is it just me?
